Who we are
This website and its newsletter are run by Miss Dee Carter, author of the How to Draw for Kids book series. You can contact us at hello@missdeecarter.com.
What we collect
When you sign up for a free printable or our newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We also note how you found us (for example Pinterest or Facebook) and, for book bonus pages, your answer to the question from the book. If you sign up through a Facebook or Instagram form, Meta passes us the same details you entered.
How we use it
We use your details to send the printables you asked for, our newsletter, new book announcements and occasional offers. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Services we use
We use trusted services to run things: Tally for forms, Zapier to connect them, MailerLite to send emails, Google for our website, email and file downloads, and Meta for Facebook and Instagram advertising. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.
Children
Our books are for young children, but this website and newsletter are for parents, grandparents and teachers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you share your child's artwork with us, please include only a first name.
Cookies
Our website is hosted on Google Sites, which may use essential cookies to work properly. We do not add our own advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, including the UK, EU and California, you may have additional rights, and we will respect them.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
